There is still plenty of stuff on Evanna’s list at Babies R Us; I know this because I almost got in trouble for using all the paper in the printer when I hit “print all unpurchased items”. That’s ok I printed it in Lubbock, no one knew me there anyway
Hawaii is five hours behind us Texans. Going there was easy, coming home is hard. I know now what jet lag means. I have done my best to stay awake but, I can’t help sleeping, just so I can dream about Hawaii. If I didn’t miss my ohana (family) I would have started applying for jobs.
Check out my pictures. I’ll post more after I wake up :} Nene, I will send your mac nuts to you tomorrow. Although if the weather gets REALLY bad, I bring them to you.
Mahalo (Thank you) everyone, for being so patient with me and my jet lag.
We all had so much fun this weekend. If you didn’t get to join us, I hope your weekend was memorable too.
Kayla had the time of her life, Graduating on your 18th birthday could have been like Christmas and a birthday, but the cool part was she got to have a really awesome BIRTHDAY party on graduation day.
The food was not only delicious, but gorgeous as well. We all ate everything! Right down to the Double T’s. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm! If you missed it, that’s OK I ate enough for an army. This is the first party at my house where ALL of the food was eaten. Great job Mom and NeNe, it would not have been a party without you guys.
Now for our next adventure…COLLEGE! Enjoy the photos! Send me photos of your graduate I would love to post them here.
Please keep praying for Grandpa, he is still under the weather and appreciates all the prayers we’re sending his way.
The days are moving faster and faster toward graduation. Did I happen to tell everyone that Graduation day also happens to Kayla’s birthday? We are have a bash, everyone is invited! Please come…I promise not to try to cook…Nene and my mom agreed to save us all from me opening many boxes of pizza rolls. Donnie won’t be chained to the barbecue grill either. I’ll buy drinks!
Zack & Michael have been cornered lately about what they are going to do with their life. I think they have it narrowed down. Zack says, anything without math. Michael says, anything he can do while texting his girlfriend. Needless to say I am hopeful. While my first born child is leaving home to save the world, the boys have promised to look good while she does. A parent could not be more proud.
She leaves in August, all the while I will be suffering greatly…in Hawaii on a seven day cruise. I am positive I will be miserable. Ok, not really miserable, but I really will be in Hawaii. Boys, let me make this perfectly, crystal clear, Memaw and Charlie will be staying with you, so no Risky Business! That is unless you plan to NEVER see your 18th birthday.
Yes it really is Tax day. More importantly it’s Donnie’s Birthday! Tax day is a most fitting birthday for my wonderful husband. Here’s why; there are three things that are sure in this life
Death
Taxes
Donnie will be ON TIME. (There is no such thing as a soft time.)
Donnie’s Motto: “If you can’t be on time, be early. From the time you leave work you have at least twelve hours to figure out a way to get back here so there is no excuse for being late!”
Happy Birthday Donnie, enjoy your towels and the box of rocks we got you for your birthday. That’s what happens when you don’t make a list.
He is so handsome! And most certainly wondering what all the commotion is about. Congratulations Nerissa and David. Now that he is here you’ll find the best and most important job you’ll ever do is about to begin. Did I also mention he has the coolest Grandparents ever? He does, just ask him.
